Well, yipes! Just had another history class - 7 weeks into the semester! - dropped into my lap when the professor went out on medical leave at literally 15 minutes' notice. I've taught the class before, but - of course - Week # 7 is the week for which the lecture notes have gone walkabout. It's a day class - 2 days a week - so there is much reshuffling of time and energy.

Yikes! Thursday off again, then, or will you need to kill things even more?

(They pay you for off-tanking this class, right?)

Obviously she should get first pick of the drops from the students... oh, right, not supposed to kill and loot them.... (Not that students are likely to have good loot anyway.)

Good luck, anyway!

Wouldn't there be a conflict of interest if she gets to loot the students? I mean, the test is supposed to be tough but fair, not deliberately deadly so as to maximize her loot.

Though that would be one way to make sure you don't damage the good stuff, I suppose. Make a test so diabolical they drop dead of horror and all their potions and magic items and stuff is pristine....

Hmm. Definitely a conflict of interest.

No, this is the reason we're ON for Thursday. Originally I was going to go to the Getty with a friend, which would have gone on into the evening. This way, I teach the class, come home, and kill stuff for the rest of the evening.

And yes, they'll pay me.

At least you get a quest reward for it! Definitely on for killing things, then! O:>

Yikes. That happened to me last week when a professor sneakily scheduled surgery without telling anyone. Good luck.
